Imagine Arriving In A New Country, Surrounded By People, Yet Unable To Express Yourself Through Words.
For D.J.A.Y., Dance Wasn't Just A Passion. It Became His Voice, His Connection To Others, And Ultimately, The Beginning Of Something Extraordinary.
Born In Bogotá, Colombia, And Raised In Brazil, Professional Dancer, Choreographer, And Creator D.J.A.Y. Grew Up Surrounded By Rhythm, Culture, And The Powerful Energy Of Music.
In 2009, He Moved To Melbourne, Australia, Ready To Begin A New Chapter Of His Life.
But With Limited English, Connecting With Others Wasn't Always Easy.
Until He Discovered That Movement Could Say Everything Words Could Not.

ONE IDEA THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING.
While Performing And Teaching Across Melbourne, D.J.A.Y. Discovered Something Remarkable.
By Using Simple Numbers, Clear Movements, And The Universal Language Of Rhythm, He Could Guide Hundreds Of People Through Different Dance Styles, Regardless Of Their Background, Language, Or Experience.
People Who Had Never Danced Before Were Suddenly Moving Together.
